The Cost of Cheating

Clayton Kershaw….was the biggest loser of the Astros sign-stealing nonsense.
Like, he’s a HOF pitcher for sure, but he’d already had a troubled playoff reputation and this hurt. And it was cheating.
And who knows, maybe with fair play it’s turned around and he leads the Dodgers to a series win and has that redemptive triumph that is the very reason we watch sports.
Like, the Nats this year.
Lebron and the Cubs in ’16.
Kobe’s titles without Shaq.
Shaq’s title without Kobe.
Jordan Beating the Pistions.
Kershaw, 2 years ago, maybe shoulda won and maybe would have if it hadn’t been for that cheating.
We’ll never know.
